Levoit Air Purifier HEPA Labeling Settlement (up to $15M)
Levoit Core & EverestAir 'True HEPA' class action
What happened
Levoit agreed to an up-to-$15 million settlement resolving claims that some of its air purifiers and filters marketed as HEPA were not true HEPA-rated.
The allegations
Plaintiffs alleged the products' filtration did not meet the HEPA standard the labeling implied, so buyers paid a premium for less filtration than advertised.
Who qualifies
Anyone in the U.S. who bought a Levoit-branded Core or EverestAir air purifier, or a replacement filter labeled 'True HEPA', 'HEPA', or 'H13', between August 29, 2019 and August 4, 2023.
